Job application contest procedures
(1) The contest for the academic position of Associate Professor consist of the analyze of the contest dossier. (2) Candidates who do not come from the higher education field have to present a didactic lecture in front of the students, in the presence of the contest commission. The theme of the public lecture is announced to the candidates 48 hours before the presentation by posting on UCV website. (3) The contest commission for the Associate Professor position, organised under the rules of the Article 20 of the contest methodology (www.ucv.ro), shall hierarchy taking into account the provisions of the article 22 of the same methodology.

List of documents
a) application for the contest, signed by the candidate and accompanied by a declaration on self-determination concerning the veracity of the information included in the dossier; b) a candidate’s proposal for academic career development, both in didactic and scientific research terms, the proposal shall be made by the candidate, comprising up to 10 pages and it is one of the main criteria of selecting candidates; c) curriculum vitae of the candidate; d) list of papers of the candidate; e) check list of standards accomplishment in the competition, completed and signed by the candidate; f) copy of the doctoral diploma and if the original doctoral degree is not recognized in Romania, certificate of recognition or equivalence, certified as true copies by the Secretary-Head of the UCv; g) summary in Romanian and in an international language of the doctoral thesis up to one page for each language; h) the candidate’s declaration on self-determination indicating the incompatibility situations stipulated by Law no. 1/2011 in case of winning the competition or lack of such situations of incompatibility; i) copies of other diplomas certifying candidate’s qualifications: baccalaureate diploma or certificate of recognition, Bachelor’s degree diploma or certificate of recognition, Master's degree diplima or certificate of recognition, certified as true copies by the Secretary-Head of the UCv; j) copies of transcripts, diploma supplement or statements issued for each studies course, certified as true copies by the Secretary-Head of the UCv; k) copy of the ID card, or if the candidate has no identity card, passport or other identity document equivalent to the card; l) if the candidate has changed his name, copies of the name change documents, marriage certificate or proof of name change, certified as true copy (copies) by the Secretary-Head of the UCv; m) no more than 10 publications, patents and other papers of the candidate, in electronic format, self- selected and considered to be most relevant for his own professional achievements; n) if there are works not available in electronic format or cannot be scanned (e.g. musical or theatrical performances, etc.) recordings or photographs will be attached; o) a CD / DVD shall be attached at the contest dossier, or other electronic support, with all its contents scanned in order to be send to the contest commission (documents created by the candidate will be in the "word" format, and the previous documents as identity documents, studies certificates will be scanned); p) the medical certificate indicating that the candidate is able to carry out teaching activities; r) criminal record certificate; s) contest registration receipt; t) The candidates that have not filled in a teaching position in the higher education system, irrespective of the vacancy they compete for, as well as candidates competing for the position of Junior Lecturer, shall enclose a Teacher Trainind Certificate.
In accordance with art. 14, para. (1) of its own methodology of competition (www.ucv.ro) candidates for the Associate Professor position must include in the contest dossier the name and contact addresses of at least three personalities from the same field from the country or abroad, outside the higher education institution where the academic position is located, who agreed to write letters of recommendation regarding the candidate's professional qualities.
