Carry out didactic and research activities according to legal norms in force;
• Participate in educational planning and devising curricula;
• Takes part of the related planning and management activities that are developed by the department;
• Prepares, plans and conducts the scenarious in which the students/ coursents are trainned;
• Individual author or co-author for monographs, manuals, courses and and the senarios of exercises;
• Supports students/ trainees with relevant advice and conduct conceling;
• Carries out the editorial plan of department;
• Monitors the achievement of the instructional and educational objectives of the disciplines;
• Prepares and conducts scientific research activities in the field of specialised training;
• Organize and carry out extra-curricular activities with the students;
• Respects the military code of conduct and the professional ethical code;
• Apply legal provisions concerning work with classified documents. |

| Job application contest procedures |
Task I: Public lecture of at least 45 minutes in which the candidates present the most significant previous professional results and the development plan of his/her academic career. The task necessarily includes a session of questions on the part of the commission and the public and answers.
Task II: A public lecture in the field of Critical Infrastructures Protection on a topic selected by the contest commission from among the subjects presented on this document.
The topic of the lecture will be communicated to each candidate in writing, 48 hours before the exam.

| List of documents |
The dossier for the contest shall comprise the following: - CONTENT - application for the contest, according to Annex no. 1 of NDU methodology, signed by the candidate, including a sworn statement concerning the veracity of the information in the dossier; - a proposal for academic career development of the candidate in terms of scientific research activities, maximum 10 pages long; - curriculum vitae of the candidate; - complete list of the candidate’s papers; - sheet of compliance with NDU standards for participating in the contest, completed and signed by the candidate, whose standard format is provided by NDU methodology; - legalized copy of the PhD diploma; - summary of the PhD thesis in Romanian and in a foreign language, maximum one page long for each language; - sworn statement of the candidate concerning incompatibility situations stipulated by Law no. 1/2011 in case of winning the contest or lack of such incompatibility; - legalized copy of the bachelor's degree;
- legalized copy of the documents proving the graduation of psychological and pedagogical education; - copies of other diplomas that certify the candidate’s studies; - copy of Identity Card; - copies of documents proving the candidate’s name change (marriage certificate or proof of name change), if the candidate has changed his/her name; - at least 3 names and contact addresses of personalities in the field, from Romania or abroad, outside NDU, who agreed to write letter of recommendation on the candidate’s professional skills; - a CD containing curriculum vitae, complete list of published papers highlighting the relevant works and maximum 10 publications, patents or other works selected by the candidate and deemed to be most relevant for his/her professional achievements. |
