Position 11 Senior Researcher II. research field: Humanistic sciences and arts; Philosophy; Elaboration of research projects; Elaboration and coordination of research projects; Coordination of activity research; Information/ Documentation in scientific specialty; Organisation/Participation to scientific events; Reporting of the research results. |
| Related duties / activities |
• execute the specific activities for research projects and publish their results;
• take part in competitions in national research programs in the European Union and bilateral programs in which Romania is a party;
• to perform the tasks and duties set by the direct chief;
• to respect obligations under the individual employment contract, including the additional acts (es) thereof, the obligations specified in the payroll, as well as documents and internal regulations of the University "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" of Iasi;
• to carry out scientific activity sustained participating with papers in the field sessions, symposia and scientific congresses in the country or abroad, to publish original scientific results impact journals (published);
• propose direct head - research topics relevant to the position held;
• shall participate the profile homework research or high complexity, for which purpose:
based research themes through a detailed documentation;
direct chief proposes to new research topics and projects its areas of activity;
prepare or coordinate the preparation documentation for the development of research projects;
• draw its share of phase reports of research projects involving;
• make proposals directly chief for the purposes of research.
• ensure, in consultation with chief directly the necessary measures to ensure the protection of technical information, technological, commercial, administrative, related to the subject of research is involved;
• ensure, in consultation with chief directly, identification / evaluation instruments, documents, contracts, information it appreciate to be secret or confidential, for approval proposing appropriate measures for their protection;
• proposes to scientific solutions to homework / research projects;
• responsible for the scientific quality of homework / projects within the area involved;
• make proposals for scientific work of staff in part to optimize economic efficiency;
• continuously develops its scientific knowledge and contribute to the dissemination of scientific information and culture, as well as public awareness and decision-makers on the role of science;
• ensure the development of its field research carried out for which purpose:
deepening the fundamental theoretical aspects of the field;
grounded, prepares and submits bids for contracting of research projects;
• ensures retention of patrimony received for doing the job and responds according to the law
to integrity;
• participate in the implementation ofaccording to the law, their own research activity results,
if applicable; |

12. Contents of the application files is compiled according to "the Competition Methodology for research positions indefinite and determined period in " Alexandru Ioan Cuza "University of Iasi, containing the following documents:
w. Registration form, (according to Annex 3), signed by the candidate;
x. statement of truth for the data within the application file (handwritten responsibility by the candidate on a form disseminated from the Personal and Professional Development Service);
y. a proposal for the development of one’s own academic career, in maximum 10 pages;
z. curriculum vitae, both in electronic and printed version;
aa. a list of published works, both in electronic and printed version;
bb. a self-evaluation sheet, electronic and printed version, in accordance with the general university standards sheet, according to Annex 1;
cc. a self-evaluation sheet on the minimal standards on areas of the university, printed and electronic version, according to Annex 2, for research positions;
• In the Annex 2, shall attach proof (certificate or copy of the annex to research contract where is specified the name of the candidate) candidate quality team member research projects won by national or international competition in accordance with the requirements of Annex 2, depending on the field Job.
dd. an authenticated copy of the PhD diploma, awarded in the same field as that of the position which the candidate applies for (the branch of science corresponding to the post). Where the Phd diploma was obtained in academic institution from abroad, the recognition certificate will be attached; or certificate stating Php student status, for a scientific research assistant position;
ee. an abstract of maximum one page, of the PhD thesis; both in Romanian and an international language, maximum one page for each language;
ff. declaration of honor of the candidate (Annex 4) on the incompatibilities provided by Law no. 1/2011;
gg. copies of other degrees certifying the candidates’ studies;
hh. a copy of the identity card, passport or other identity paper equivalent to the identity card;
ii. copies of the papers certifying the change of names, if necessary;
jj. local hierarch blessing for candidates from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology and Roman Catholic Theology;
kk. maximum 10 publications, patents or other work of the candidate, in electronic format, selected it and deemed to be most relevant for their professional achievements;
ll. statement on the treatment of personal data (written and signed by the candidate on a form provided with the submission of application) in accordance with UE Regulation no. 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data;

7. Candidates for scientific researcher I – CS I position will must include in the file at least 3 names and contact addresses of personalities from the respective field, from abroad, who have agreed to write letters of recommendation, regarding the candidate’s professional qualities.
8. Candidates for scientific researcher II – CS II position will must include in the file at least 3 names and contact addresses of personalities from the specialized field, from abroad, from outside the University who have agreed to write letters of recommendation. |
