Job Description
Associate Professor, position no. 12 in the organizational chart of the Faculty of Psychology, Sciences of Education and Social Assistance, full-time studies, the Department of Psychology and Social assistance, which includes the following disciplines:
1. English Language (for 1st year students in Psychology),
2. English for Political Sciences (for 2nd year students in Political Sciences)
3. English Language (for the 2nd year of study in Social Assistance).
Related duties / activities
1. English Language (for 1st year students in Psychology),
Didactic activity (no. of courses/seminars, year of study, number of groups, number of conventional hours, etc.):
28 seminar hours/semester (56 seminar hours/year) for the 1st year of study, with 5 (five) seminar groups), (total conventional hours/week – 5);
2. English for Political Sciences (for 2nd year students in Political Sciences)
Didactic activity (no. of courses/seminars, year of study, number of groups, number of conventional hours, etc.):
28 seminar hours/semester (56 seminar hours/year) for the 2nd year of study, with 1 (one) seminar group, (total conventional hours/week – 1);
3. English Language (for the 2nd year of study in Social Assistance).
28 seminar hours/semester (56 seminar hours/year) for the 2nd year of study, with 2 (two) seminar groups, (total conventional hours/week – 2);
4. Scientific research activity (number of hours, minimum number of articles, papers, participations to scientific manifestations, etc.) in a total of 400 hours, in the field of humanistic sciences and art, indicated in the job description, consisting in:
a. The elaboration as first author, collaborator or coordinator of: monographs, syntheses, volumes of thematic studies, linguistic, philological studies, studies of criticism or literary history (contributions to the elaboration of) scientific dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, treaties, philological critical editions (old texts, documents, translations and critical editing of old texts); scientific editing of scientific or literary works (including anthologies) with text(s) belonging to another author than the author of the edition, editing of volumes deriving from works of symposiums, conferences, congresses, workshops n scientific matters, editing of collective volumes and thematic issues of specialized publications;
b. The translation of scientific or literary works of well-known authors or adding critical notes to the translations;
c. Elaboration of articles, studies, reviews representing in extenso contributions, published in scientific magazines indexed in renown international databases or prestigious magazines, in the Annals/Bulletins/Yearbooks of Universities, Academia, in occasional, anniversary or in memoriam collective volumes; the elaboration of studies, essays, articles on literary subjects publishes in non-indexed specialized magazines with ISSN.
d. The elaboration of studies in collective volumes or in volumes of conferences which present contributions in extenso, published by well-known publishing houses;
e. Editorial activities as a member in the editorial board of a specialized magazine with peer review, from the country or abroad or as a scientific referent and coordinator of collections in publishing houses or magazines accredited in the country or abroad;
f. Coordination or participation to the implementation of scientific grants;
g. Keynote speaker participations or participation with a communication in scientific manifestations (conferences, congresses, symposiums, colloquiums, workshops) with scientific boards or a peer review selection system in the country or abroad;
h. Elaboration of translations;
i. Completion of research stages or visiting professor stages abroad;
j. Participation to expert commissions for the evaluation of projects, doctoral theses, or competitions for didactic or research positions;
5. The activity of evaluation:
a. The evaluation form at the three disciplines – oral exam.
6. Activity of coordination for undergraduate/dissertation theses (if applicable):
a. Not applicable
7. Course support or manual for each discipline in the position structure:
a. Elaboration of didactic materials (course or university manual) with ISBN;
b. Elaboration of course supports in electronic format.
