Job related duties/activities
- To prepare and carry out teaching activities for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate courses as well as life-long programs of instruction;
- To prepare and carry out seminars, using specific technical architecture for modeling, simulation and conduct of military actions;
- To coordinate projects, dissertation papers, graduation and Bachelor degree papers, teacher training stages, in accordance with the curricula;
- To carry out evaluation activities during admission sessions, during usual teaching activities and during graduation examination sessions;
- To offer guidance, tutoring, and consultation sessions for the assigned students;
- To participate in various councils and activities organized in the interest of education;
- To participate in teacher training activities in the field;
- To elaborate and publish studies, articles, materials in field-related journals and magazines or within national and international scientific research events (scientific sessions, symposiums, congresses etc.);
- To elaborate curricula, course materials, manuals, text books, teaching materials and tests for the courses he/she has been granted tenure;
- To prepare and use the teaching logistics and infrastructure for the courses he/she has been granted tenure;
- To participate, within multidisciplinary research teams, in national and/or international research projects;
- To write books and manuals in the position related field or to contribute with specific chapters to dissertations/monographs approved through the university’s publishing plan;
- To respect and apply legal provisions regarding the handling of classified documents. |

| Job application contest procedures |
The contest will be conducted in two phases:
PHASE #1:
The applicants will deliver a public lecture in the presence of the Contest Board for at least 45 minutes during which they will be presenting their most significant professional results obtained so far and their personal academic development plan. This phase will comprise a question and answer session addressed by the Contest Board.
PHASE #2:
Upon the request of the Contest Board members, the applicants may conduct some teaching activities in front of the Contest Board or a group of students, or they will go through other activities meant to show that the candidates’ skills are in accordance with the established performance criteria.
In case of conducting a teaching activity on Land Forces Military Art, Tactics of Army Branches; Military Intelligence, the Contest Board will choose a topic from the list of topics mentioned in section E. The chosen topic will be communicated in writing to each applicant, 48 hours prior to the public lecture exam.
