Job Description
The position available for contest is the position with no. 5 from Staff Establishment of the Department of Environmental Engineering for the year 2020 – 2021.
The position contains 2 conventional hours of course in the discipline Environmental Microbiology I, from the study program ISBE, year II, semester I, 3 conventional hours of practical works to the discipline Environmental Microbiology I, from the study program ISBE, year II, semester I, 2 conventional hours of course in the discipline Environmental Microbiology II, from the ISBE study program, year II, semester II, 1 conventional hour of practical works in the discipline Environmental Microbiology II, from the ISBE study program, year II, second semester.
The position of Associate Professor, occupying the 5th position in the Staff Establishment of the Department of Environmental Engineering, within the Faculty of Environmental Protection, includes 8 conventional hours.
There are following activities asociated with this position:
- The didactic teaching norm of minimum 7 and maximum 16 conventional hours;
- The standardized activities within the Staff Establishment include teaching activities and practical activities;
- Research norm;
- Other activities - didactic preparation, coaching of students, continuing education, material elaboration, scientific research- up to a limit of 40 physical hours/week;
- The holder of this position is directly subordinated to the department head and collaborates with the colleagues within the department.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Design, plan and organize didactic and scientific activities;
- Use didactic materials;
- Design and apply instruments for students evaluation;
- Use proper methods of communication with students;
- Publish didactic and scientific papers;
- Coaching of students: scientific symposium participation, consultations, guidance of scientific circles, elaboration of graduation papers.

- Guidance (management) of the projects for the completion of studies, of the bachelor's and master's degree
- Guidance of scientific circles
