The post of Professor, Vacancy Position IV/B/1 provided in the Teaching Staff of the Department of Land Measurements and Exact Sciences contains a standard of 11,0 conventional hours, provided with hours of course and practical lab work.
• Digital Cartography, carried out in the 1 semester with students of the IV year of the Land Measurement and Cadaster, Faculty of Horticulture, thus 2 physical hours of course = 4 conventional hours / week for 14 weeks, with a total average of 2 conventional hours / year;
• Photogrammetry, carried out in the second semester with students of the III year of the Land Measurement and Cadaster, Faculty of Horticulture, thus 2 physical hours of course = 4 conventional hours / week for 14 weeks, with a total average of 2 conventional hours / year;
• Ellipsoidal Geodesy, carried out in the second semester with students of the II year of the Land Measurement and Cadaster, Faculty of Horticulture, thus 2 physical hours of course = 4 conventional hours / week for 14 weeks, 2 physical hours of practical works with 1 working group = 2 conventional hours / week for 14 weeks, with a total average of 3 conventional hours / year;

| Job application contest procedures |
Candidates who meet the legal conditions for submission to the competition will be invited by the university to take the competition tests, according to the calendar published on the USAMVCN website. The competition committee evaluates the candidate from the perspective of the following aspects:
a) the level of scientific knowledge, practical skills in the field, as well as the relevance and impact of the candidate's scientific results;
b) the candidate's ability to guide students or young researchers;
c) the didactic competences of the candidate for the positions that provide didactic activities;
d) the candidate's ability to transfer his knowledge and results to the economic or social environment or to popularize his own scientific results;
e) the candidate's ability to work in a team and the efficiency of his scientific collaborations, depending on the specifics of the candidate's field;
f) the candidate's ability to lead research and development projects;
g) the professional experience of the candidate in other institutions than the institution that put the position up for competition.
(2) The competition commission has the obligation to verify and ascertain the fulfillment by the candidate of the minimum standards of the university.
The professional competencies of the candidates are evaluated by the competition commission on the basis of the competition files and, additionally, by competition tests.
For all positions for an indefinite / determined period, the first competition test is mandatory represented by a public lecture of at least 45 minutes in which the candidate presents the most significant professional results and the university career development plan. This test must also contain a question and answer session from the committee and the public. The university announces on the website of the competition the day, time and place of this test, at least 5 working days before the test.
For positions for an indefinite period of time by a university assistant, research assistant and researcher:
a) the second competition test is an oral theoretical test, based on an extracted ticket that contains 2-3 subjects from the announced topic; the candidate will have at his disposal an hour of preparation after which he will present orally the subjects, in front of the commission.
b) the third test of the competition is a written theoretical test, based on an extracted ticket that contains 2-3 subjects from the announced topic; the candidate will have one hour to write the topics; the paper is taken over by the commission and noted.
c) the fourth test of the competition will be represented by a practical test, specific to the position - case study, practical work with students, analysis, etc. The subjects of the practical works with the students, with a predetermined theme are announced by the chairman of the commission 24 hours before the beginning of the competition (by e-mail or by posting on the notice board of the faculty / Institute). Case studies, analyzes and other topics in the veterinary field are chosen before the start of the competition.
For the positions of head of papers / lecturer and scientific researcher grade III:
a) the second test of the contest is the public support during 50 minutes of a course, respectively of a lecture, based on a subject announced 72 hours before, from the topic of the contest.
b) the third competition test will be represented by a practical test, specific to the position - case study, practical work with students, analysis, etc. The subjects of the practical works with the students, with predetermined topics are announced by the chairman of the commission 24 hours before the beginning of the competition (by e-mail or by posting on the notice board of the faculty / Institute). Case studies, analyzes and other topics in the veterinary field are chosen before the start of the competition.
For the positions of associate professor and university professor as well as second and first degree scientific researcher, the second competition test consists of:
a) the public support during 50 minutes of a course, respectively of a lecture, based on a subject announced 72 hours before, from the theme of the contest.
b) for the competition for the positions that contain in the structure didactic activities for lines of study in foreign languages, this test will be held in the respective foreign language.
The contests take place within 45 days from the end of the registration period.
The competition consists in the evaluation of the scientific and professional activity, as well as of the didactic qualities, for the positions with didactic component, of the candidates.
For each position, the competition committee decides the hierarchy of candidates and nominates the candidate who has the best results.
The chairman of the competition committee draws up a report on the competition, based on the assessment reports drafted by each member of the committee and in compliance with the hierarchy of candidates decided by the committee.
The report on the competition is approved by decision of the competition commission and is signed by each of the members of the competition commission and by the chairman of the commission.
The faculty council analyzes the observance of the procedures established by the university's own methodology and gives or does not give its opinion to the report on the competition. The hierarchy of candidates established by the competition commission cannot be modified by the faculty council.
The university senate analyzes the observance of the procedures established by the university's own methodology and approves or not the report on the competition. The hierarchy of candidates established by the competition commission cannot be modified by the University Senate.
The appointment and the granting of the afferent university title by the university, following the approval of the result of the contest by the university Senate, is made by the decision of the Rector, starting with the semester following the contest.
For teaching positions, for an indefinite period, the decision to appoint and award the corresponding university degree by the higher education institution, together with the competition report, is sent by the university to the Ministry of Education and Research and the National Council for Attestation of Degrees, Diplomas and University Certificates, hereinafter referred to as CNATDCU, within two working days from the issuance of the appointment decision.
In the situation where, following the winning of a competition by a candidate, one or more persons from the higher education institution are to be in a situation of incompatibility according to Art.295 par. (4) of Law no. 1/2011, the appointment and the granting of the university title or of the professional degree of research-development can take place only after the solution of the situation / situations of incompatibility. The manner of solving the situation of incompatibility is approved by the Senate and is communicated to the Ministry of Education and Research within two working days from the solution.
Violation of the provisions of Art.295 par. (3) and (4) of the Education Law leads to the invalidation of the competition and to the penalization of the guilty.
The presidents of the competition commissions, the directors of the departments, the deans of the faculties and the Rector are accountable before the University Senate for the good development of the competitions for filling the positions, under the conditions of observing the quality norms, university ethics and the legislation in force. In the conditions of finding some irregularities, the University Senate can apply sanctions up to their dismissal.
If the position put up for competition has not been filled, the competition may be resumed in full compliance with the competition procedure.
The result of the contest is published on the web page of the university dedicated to the contest, within two working days from the end of the contest.
The University draws up an annual report, no later than September 1, on the organization, conduct and completion of competitions for teaching and research positions. The report, accompanied by the Rector's decision to appoint the candidates who promoted the competitions, is sent, for notification, to the Ministry of Education and Research and CNATDCU.
Appeals may be filed exclusively for non-compliance with legal procedures or provided in the USAMVCN methodology. Appeals filed by persons other than candidates are submitted to the Senate for resolution.

| List of documents |
In order to register for the competition for a teaching or research position, the candidate draws up a file containing the following documents in printed format:
a) the application for registration in the competition, on a standardized form, signed by the candidate, which also includes a statement on one's own responsibility regarding the veracity of the information presented in the file. The application for registration is registered at the University Registry at the time of submitting the competition file. On the CD / DVD, attached to the file, the application form is scanned completed and signed by the candidate, not registered at the registry.
b) agreement for processing personal data - standardized form;
c) copy of the identity card or, in case the candidate does not have an identity card, of the passport or of another identity document drawn up for a purpose equivalent to the identity card or passport, signed by the candidate;
d) in case the candidate has changed his / her name, copies of documents attesting the name change - marriage certificate or proof of name change, signed by the candidate;
e) the criminal record certificate of the candidate valid at the time of registration for the competition;
f) baccalaureate, bachelor's, master's degrees (if applicable) and doctoral diplomas, accompanied by transcripts / diploma supplements, or, if the original diplomas are not recognized in Romania, certificates of recognition or equivalence of them. The mentioned study documents will be presented in original and in photocopy to the chief secretary of the university, for the certification of the conformity with the original.
g) photocopies of other diplomas attesting the candidate's studies;
h) curriculum vitae of the candidate;
i) the list of works of the candidate that corresponds to the fulfillment of the minimum standards, accompanied by the printed format of the minimum necessary works (ISI, BDI). The works will be submitted to the file as an annex.
j) photocopy of the cover of the books submitted to the file. Also, the books will be submitted to the file as an appendix, accompanied by the opinion of the Teaching Council or the Research and Development and Innovation Council (where applicable - books written after 2012 by candidates from USAMVCN);
k) documents certifying the quality of member or director / responsible in research grants obtained through competition or in research and consultancy grants. For the research and consultancy grants, the account statements are additionally attached as proof of the collection of the amounts mentioned in the contract, issued by the Economic Department of USAMV CN;
l) Wos report (Web of Science) with citations report;
m) documents attesting the quality of member in scientific societies;
n) the summary in Romanian and in a language of international circulation, of the doctoral thesis, on a maximum of one page for each language;
o) the standard form for verifying the fulfillment of the university's standards for submission to the competition. The verification form is completed and signed by the candidate;
p) the proposal for the development of the candidate's university career, both from the didactic point of view, in the case of teaching positions, and from the point of view of the scientific research activities; the proposal is drafted by the candidate, comprises a maximum of 10 pages and is one of the main criteria for separating candidates;
r) letters of characterization / recommendation from the head of the department / institution in which the candidate was or is employed or was registered as a student. Candidates for the positions of associate professor, university professor, second degree scientific researcher, first degree scientific researcher must include in the competition file at least 3 names and contact addresses of personalities from the respective field, from the country or from abroad, outside USAMVCN, who agreed to draw up letters of recommendation regarding the candidate's professional qualities.
s) certificate of linguistic competence for at least one European and international language (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian) for all candidates, regardless of the position they are applying for. The provision applies to all teaching and research functions and refers to the level of competence of at least B2;
For teachers who have in the structure of the job hours that are taught in the specializations that take place in foreign languages, the minimum level of competence accepted is B2. Thus, the language certificate of minimum level B2, presented by the candidate, must have international recognition being issued by competent institutions, mandatory for the language in which the study program is conducted.
ș) photocopy of the graduation certificates of the Department for the training of teaching staff in education, level I and level II (for the positions of assistant and head of works), accompanied by transcripts / diploma supplements. Graduates who have completed a long-term or short-term university degree with a bachelor's degree / graduation by 2005 are considered to have fulfilled the condition of psycho-pedagogical training of level I and II, if through the transcript they prove the completion of disciplines: school psychology, pedagogy, methodology teaching the specialty and pedagogical practice in the specialty enrolled in the bachelor's / graduation diploma (Law no. 1/2011, Art. 238);
t) photocopy of the habilitation certificate (for the position of university professor);
ț) declaration on the candidate's own responsibility in which he indicates the situations of incompatibility provided by Law no. 1/2011 in which it would be in case of winning the contest or the lack of these situations of incompatibility;
u) statement on the candidate's own responsibility indicating the situations of incompatibility provided by GD 457/2011 regarding the persons involved in the competition procedure;
v) three medical certificates issued by 3 primary care physicians (in the specialties of neurology, psychiatry, ENT) attesting to the lack of diseases incompatible with the teaching career, as well as medical certificate from the family doctor for employment. The certificates will be valid at the time of registration for the contest;
x) A CD / DVD with its entire content, scanned, is attached to the competition file in order to be sent to the competition commission. The CD / DVD must also include:
- Verification form (in Excel format, according to the form for meeting the minimum standards CNATDCU);
- Complete list of papers and papers ISI and BDI required by the minimum criteria (list of papers in word format, and articles in pdf format);
- Curriculum vitae of the candidate. |
