3.Descrierea procedurii de concurs

Concursul pentru ocuparea posturilor didactice se va desfășura conform procedurii prevăzute în Metodologia de concurs pentru ocuparea posturilor didactice și de cercetare din cadrul Universității de Vest „Vasile Goldiș” din Arad.

Procesul de evaluare se va desfășura după următorul plan:

a)Evaluarea dosarelor candidaților înscriși la concurs

b)Susținerea unei prelegeri publice de minim 45 de minute, de către candidații înscriși, urmată de întrebări din partea comisiei și a publicului.

c)Evaluarea finală a candidaților înscriși de către comisia de concurs.

FOR INDEFINITE EMPLOYMENT OF TEACHING AND RESEARCH POSITIONS

Competition file:

-it is drawn up in a single copy and submitted both in letter format and on electronic support (stick)

Works folder:

-it is drawn up in a single copy and submitted both in letter format and on electronic support (stick)

For the cover of the folder:

-the standard model shall be used

1.Application for registration in the competition, signed by the candidate, which includes a personal liability statement regarding the truthfulness of the information presented in the file;

2.A proposal for the development of the candidate's academic career both from the didactic point of view, in the case of teaching positions, and from the point of view of scientific research activities; the candidate drafts the proposal, comprises a maximum of 10 pages and is one of the main criteria for candidates’ ranking;

3.Curriculum vitae of the candidate in printed and electronic format (Europass template);

4.List of candidate's papers in printed and electronic format;

5.UVVG standards compliance verification sheet, the standard format of which is provided by its own methodology. The standards of the higher education institution may not derogate from the minimum national standards approved according to art. 156 para. (1) (a) and (b) (2) of the Law on Higher Education nr. 199/2023, as subsequently amended and supplemented. The verification sheet is completed and signed by the candidate;

6.Documents regarding the holding of the doctoral diploma: copy according to the original of the doctoral diploma and, if the original doctoral diploma is not recognized in Romania, copy according to the original of the certificate of recognition or equivalence thereof;

7.Abstract in Romanian and in an international language of the doctoral thesis, on maximum one page for each language;

8.Candidate’s personal statement indicating the situations of incompatibility provided by the Law on Higher Education nr. 199/2023, as subsequently amended and supplemented, in which they would find themselves in case of winning the competition or the absence of these situations of incompatibility;

9.To fill positions in higher medical education, except for positions in subjects that have no correspondence in the network of the Ministry of Health and for the preclinical subjects, true copies of the original, certifying the possession of the respective medical titles;

•for university assistant - holding the title of resident doctor or a higher medical title;

•for lecturer - holding the title of specialist doctor / specialist dentist;

•for associate professor or university professor - holding the title of primary physician / primary dentist.

10.Master's degree or equivalent including transcript / diploma supplement - copy according to the original;

11.Bachelor's degree or equivalent including transcript / diploma supplement - copy according to the original;

12.Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent including transcript - copy according to the original;

13.Order on granting the habilitation certificate – copy according to the original;

14.Certificate of completion of a pedagogical module - copy according to the original;

15.Certificate of language proficiency, if applicable - copy according to the original;

16.Copies of other diplomas attesting to the candidate's studies;

17.Copy of the identity card or, if the candidate does not have an identity card, of the passport or other identity document drawn up for a purpose equivalent to the identity card or passport;

18.If the candidate has changed his/her name, copies of documents certifying the change of name, respectively the marriage certificate or proof of name change;

19.Maximum 10 publications, patents or other works of the candidate, in electronic format, selected by him and considered to be the most relevant for his own professional achievements;

20.For candidates for the position of associate professor / scientific researcher degree II, respectively university professor / scientific researcher degree I: 3 letters of recommendation; names and contact addresses of personalities in the respective field, from the country or abroad, outside UVVG Arad, who agreed to draw up letters of recommendation regarding the professional qualities of the candidate. In the case of scientific fields with Romanian specificity, letters of recommendation for candidates for the positions of university professor or scientific researcher degree I may also come from personalities in the respective field in Romania, outside the higher education institution whose position is put up for competition.

21.Certificate of criminal record;

22.Certificate of behavioral integrity;

23.Medical certificate, issued on a specific form adopted by joint order of the Minister of Education and the Minister of Health;

24.Medical approval for exercising the teaching profession, issued according to the provisions of the joint order of the Minister of Education and the Minister of Health.

25.Certificate from the institution where the candidate carries out his/ her activity (Certificate/ REVISAL);

26.Agreement for carrying out teaching activities at U.V.V.G. (where applicable).

27.Memory stick with all documents in electronic format;

28.Proof of payment of the participation fee in the competition.

1.The candidate's curriculum vitae must include:

a)information on the completed studies and the awarded diplomas;

b)information on the professional experience and previous relevant jobs;

c)information on the research and development projects he/ she has led as project manager and the acquired grants, if any, indicating for each source of funding, the amount of funding and the main publications or patents resulting from it;

d)information on prizes or other elements of recognition of the candidate's scientific contributions.

2.A proposal for the development of the candidate's academic career both from the didactic point of view, in the case of teaching positions, and from the point of view of scientific research activities; the proposal shall be drafted by the candidate, shall comprise a maximum of 10 pages and shall be one of the main criteria for ranking the candidates;

3.List of published works in printed and electronic format to be structured as follows:

a)the list of maximum 10 papers considered by the candidate to be the most relevant for the field of the job subjects which he/ she is applying for;

b)doctoral thesis or theses;

c)patents and other industrial property titles;

d)books and chapters in books;

e)papers/studies in extenso, published in journals from the main international scientific stream;

f)publications in extenso, published in papers of the main international specialized conferences;

g)other scientific works and contributions or, as the case may be, in the field of artistic creation.

4.Candidate's verification sheet certifying that the minimum standards for filling the respective position are met (signed by the candidate);
